Here are the finer details:
Water Lovers – We’re happy to play host to launching 400 inflatable rafts and floating them from Whitemud Park to Emily Murphy Park. Don’t worry. You don’t have to walk back. We are offering complimentary shuttles to everyone who registers to raft with us. Personal floatation devices/life jackets included!
Land Lovers – Although we love the river, we can’t forget the great assets that exist within the river valley park system. We’re bringing outfitters, clubs and associations, demonstrations and entertainment to help make it easy to get out and enjoy. There will be hiking excursions, geocache demonstrations, educational stations and other interactive exhibits. And of course, there will be food trucks, refreshments and activities for the kids.
Entertainment – We haven’t forgotten about entertainment! WELCA presents their musical ride, while Encor by EPCOR is hosting the stage, bringing entertainment for every age.
-Ginalina – brought to you by Edmonton Nature Centres Foundation

Raft The River
Picture this: 400 inflatable rafts drifting from Whitemud Park to Emily Murphy Park.
See the river valley from an entirely new perspective!
Relax and enjoy the view as you drift through the river valley. In September, the water is low and slow while the shores are painted gold and red and orange.
Local paddling clubs will be on the water to help out.
Each raft holds 1 – 4 people, depending on age and weight.
Pre-registration is recommended.
